Hello! I am picking up writing as my hobby and I have been enjoying so much your content especially on the humanities.

So my favorite historical figure Rosa Luxemburg, she reminded me that I do not read only to learn, but to also bring positive impact to society and social changes to the real world. And I really admire her how despite being a women at her time, she still managed to achieve big social impacts. And sometimes I imagine the world being a better place if she wasn't killed in the revolution.

And I do think we can judge the past with today's lens as I do see the ethical standards of human living have been evolving through the ages. So in the present we are more conscious about past wrongdoings. However, I also do see the limits of judging the past as individuals living before us have been limited by the ethical standards of their times and we should not be too harsh on them.
