I do political science as my major, and I have came across this stunning phenomenon too recently. It is often young people that discriminates against humanities majors. I often see business school people who have that hubris and silently not befriending humanities majors. Fuck those finance bros.

Older generations are people who have lived long enough to know well that it is not an imperative to specialise at your early age. And appreciate an intellectual journey when one is still young enough to absorb and immensely grow intellectually.

Strikingly often, older generations from business backgrounds that knows how to respect humanities major eventually make it to success. Met few of these people lately.
